Stop Pet Overpopulation Today (SPOT) Spay Neuter Voucher Program is now providing funding directly through our spay/neuter partner, the Willamette Animal Guild (WAG)

As of January 2, 2024, SPOT will be raising and providing funds directly to WAG for a more streamlined assistance program for qualified low-income Lane County dog owners. SPOT’s application form is no longer available on this website or by phone and the new application can be found at wagwag.org (click on Financial Services).

You can now fill out an application directly at wagwag.org and apply for an appointment and $75 subsidy toward your dog’s procedure. In certain cases, if the veterinarian determines during surgery that there are other procedures related to the spay/neuter that are important to the pet’s health and welfare, SPOT will also authorize paying for those specific costs.

If you do not have internet access to fill out an application form, you may leave a message at 541-345-3566; however, this will likely incur a longer wait time for assistance.

Please note: You will be required to provide proof of your low-income status prior to your appointment.

This new program will streamline both organizations' processes and simplify our client's ability to make an appointment for your dog's spay/neuter. Thank you for taking this important step for your pet's health and welfare and helping stop pet overpopulation in our community.

We are pleased to announce that we are now part of the Fred Meyer’s Community Rewards program, which allows you to help us earn donations just by shopping with your Fred Meyer rewards card.

Here’s how it works:

Sign up for the Community Rewards Program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to SPOT at https://www.fredmeyer.com/account/communityrewards. You can search for us by our name or by our non-profit number (86047).
You will still earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points, and Rebates.
If you do not have a Rewards Card, they are available at the Customer Service desk of any Fred Meyer store.
Alternatively, you may give this phone number to the cashier when you check out at your local Fred Meyer which has been designated for SPOT donations: 541-541-5415.
