SPOT is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Eugene, Oregon. We gratefully welcome new volunteers to help us end dog overpopulation in our community. Check out our current openings and get in touch today!
Social Media Outreach Coordinator
(work from home approximately 3 hours/week)
SPOT needs a volunteer to generate and maintain high visibility for our spay/neuter programs, educational topics and fundraising activities through Facebook and Instagram, help create website content, and assist with other social media promotion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity, and enthusiasm about SPOT’s mission are key attributes we seek. Contact us at admin@spotspayneuter.org with a resume or letter of interest and skills/experience to apply.
Fundraising/Event and Promotion Volunteers
SPOT produces several fundraisers annually, including Casino Nights, Papa’s Pizza days, garage sales and other events. We also attend and exhibit at many community events such as Pet Fest and Veterans Stand Down. These fun events require lots of assistance – from soliciting sponsors, getting great prizes for silent auctions and raffles, creating promotional materials, invitations and posters, and growing our contact lists for invitations, to planning and executing all aspects of the event! If you are interested in helping with these events, contact us at admin@spotspayneuter.org with a resume or letter of interest and skills/experience to apply.
Newsletter Volunteer
High on our wishlist is an experienced newsletter or journalistically-savvy volunteer to help us create a great quarterly online and print newsletter to keep our supporters and the community aware of the important work we are doing, upcoming fundraising and outreach projects and other valuable information about the spay/neuter world! Contact us at admin@spotspayneuter.org with a resume or letter of interest and skills/experience to apply.
